Product Description
An ancient breed from England, originally kept primarily for cockfighting but now considered ornamental. The Old English Game is a smallish chicken with a single comb, comes in a sizable selection of color varieties, and may be large or bantam. Similar to the red jungle fowl (and likely a direct descendant), it is the active, hardy. feral breed most commonly seen foraging along North America’s rural roads and roosting in trees.
To be exhibited the cocks must have their combs, wattles. and earlobes dubbed. The hens are decent layers of eggs with tinted shells and make good broodies.
