Product Description
A breed originating in the Appenzell canton of Switzerland, where German is the main language. The breed sports unusual forward-pointing crest feathers, from which it derives its name; a spitzhal1ben is the lacy pointed bonnet traditionally worn by Swiss ladies of the region.
This breed also has a V-comb, may be either large or bantam, and comes in three color varieties: black, golden spangled. and silver spangled. The hens lay white eggs and may brood.
