Product Description
A breed developed centuries ago in Normandy. France, and named after a village in that province. Originally. it was a dual purpose farmstead breed but today is considered primarily ornamental. The Crevecoeur comes in a single color. black; has a crest, comb, and beard; and may be large or bantam. The hens lay a chalky white-shell egg and seldom brood.
