
How to Cook Delicious Country Chicken Gravy?
It’s our mother’s recipe that we would love share with you which rooted in the small village of Vaishali known as Gurmia, this is the place where our farm is located. These recipes are easy to make as the ingredients used for cooking are radially available in our local market across various part of India.
Let’s get started cooking a village style desi chicken gravy.
Ingredients Required: Since the dish is made for the family, we’ll consider 1 Kilo of Chicken and will use other ingredients accordingly.
Raw Ingredients
To make the dish you need one KG chicken which can be ordered from ChickCoop (medium cut sized), Onion (250Gm), Mustered Oil (Preferably), Cinnamon (2-3 small slice), Pepper (Half table spoon), 3 Green Chilly, 2 dry red chillies, 2-dry bay leaf, cumin (1/2 table spoon), 1 red tomato, ginger paster (1 table spoon), garlic paste (2 table spoon) and few green corianders leaf.
Processed Ingredients
Red Chilly masala (1 table spoon), coriander powder (1 table spoon), Chicken Masala (2 table spoon), Garam Masala or mixed masala (1 table spoon), and 2 table spoon salt.
Just these seven steps:
Step 1
Take a cooking pan, and put about 100 ml mustard oil in it and warm it.
Step 2
Now put cumin (1/2 table spoon) in it, followed by bay leaf and Cinnamon (2-3 small slice). Now wait to for 5 second and when you hear the pop sound, it’s time to put other fresh ingredients.
Step 3
Now put freshly cut online and green chilling into the pan, and stir until the onion becomes light brown in Color.
Step 4
Now put the medium size cut desi chicken in it and stir it along with the onion and other ingredients we have added in our previous step.
Have patience and stir the chicken well until it starts releasing water and fat from it,
Step 5
Now begin adding raw ingredients such as ginger paster (1 table spoon), garlic paste (2 table spoon) and 1 red tomato in it and stir gain and until ginger and garlic partially marinate with the meat.
The red tomato helps the meat to not to stick in the pan as they stir.
Please do not add raw coriander as it to be added in the end
Step 6
Now add powder pepper and other masala one by one into the pan. And stir it well until it completely marinates with the chicken.
Please use medium flame and cover it time to time for the chicken to marinate well without sticking in the pan.
Step 7
Add one full glass of water in the meat and cover it with the pan-cover. Now wait for 10-15 minutes and add the chopped fresh coriander leaf in it.
Voila ! Your Village style Desi Chicken Gray is ready to be served.
